Transfer Goat is a dynamic and highly skilled team of  college transfer advisors who have successfully transferred and graduated from some of the most prestigious universities in the world such as Stanford, Harvard, Yale, MIT, Penn, Columbia, and Brown. 

Our firm is led by “The Goat,” an expert in college transfer admissions with a proven track record of success having helped hundreds of students across 7+ years of transfer advising; first as a consultant, and now with Transfergoat.com. As a transfer student himself, our founder, The Goat, has a unique understanding of the complexities of the college transfer process and the importance of not only grades, but ECs and essays in finding admissions success. The Goat is a past successful transfer student, having gained acceptance into 10 of 11 schools he applied to including multiple Ivy League schools, and ultimately chose to matriculate at Stanford.

What is the typical timeline for starting to work with Transfer Goat, and when should I begin the transfer application process?

At Transfer Goat, we understand that every student’s transfer journey is unique. That’s why we welcome applicants to our program at any point in the transfer application process, whether you’re just starting to think about transferring or are already knee-deep into the process.

We’ve had students join our program two years in advance and those who sign up a week before applications are due.

We recommend that students begin working with us at least a few months to a year before the transfer application deadline for optimal results. This gives us sufficient time to help you develop extracurriculars and narratives that will set you apart from other applicants.

How many consultants will I work with if I choose Transfer Goat?

Our approach begins with a dedicated advisor who will work with you to develop a customized plan that addresses your unique needs and goals. We also understand that the transfer application process can be complicated, which is why we have a network of advisors with varying areas of expertise. With your permission, we can bring in additional advisors to assist during the essay process if needed.
